What is it?

LiverAid is a specialist formulation that helps support the Liver.

The Liver plays a vital role in multiple body systems including digestion, energy metabolism and the immune system. The blood supply from the small intestine goes straight to the Liver, making it vulnerable to pathogens and toxins from the digestive tract which have managed to get into the blood.

An example of this are fungal mycotoxins which are commonly present in forage and grains and can lead to liver damage.

What’s in it?

Milk Thistle has been recommended to support liver function for many years, and rightly so. This herb contains Silymarin, which has anti-inflammatory, immunomodulating, antifibrotic, antioxidant, and liver-regenerating properties.

In LiverAid, we use a concentrated extract of Milk Thistle, which contains 80% Silymarins. This makes the daily serving of LiverAid equivalent to 120g of standard Milk Thistle Powder. LiverAid also contains additional Vitamins A, B, C, D, E and K.

These vitamins are all fat soluble, and their absorption is often impaired when the Liver is inflamed. Additional Vitamin C is included as the horse would naturally produce this itself in the Liver. As Liver function may be impaired highly absorbable Ascorbyl Monophosphate is provided to ensure an anti-oxidant deficiency does not occur.

In addition, LiverAid also includes Prebiotics from Saccharomyces cerevisiae to support the hindgut and normal gut function.

Ingredients & Feeding Guide

Level 25ml (18g) scoops per day

Pony – approximately 250kg | 2 Scoops
Horse – approximately 500kg | 3 Scoops
Large Horse – over 750kg | 4 Scoops

Introduce to feed slowly. Mix thoroughly with feed and split between meals where possible.

Do not exceed the recommended intake.

Active Ingredients: Per daily feeding rate (3 x 25ml) 56.0g provides: 10g Mycosorb A+ mycotoxin binder, 6g Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) extract, 5g Vitamin C (as ascorbyl monophosphate), 4g prebiotic from Saccharomyces cerevisiae (MOS & Beta Glucans), Vitamin A 30,000IU, Vitamin D3 6600IU, Vitamin E (Natural) 2000IU, Vitamin K 50mg, Vitamin B12 250ug, Zinc (from chelate) 600mg.

Analytical Constituents: Crude protein 5.6%; Crude Fibre 3.4; Crude Oils & Fats 4.9%; Crude Ash 34.7%; Sodium <1%; Moisture 2.5%.

Composition: Products from yeast cell walls from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) extract, Spearmint.

Click & Collect

We offer a click & collect service for those close by to our warehouse. We are right on the East Coast about a five minute walk from the beach. Why not bring your horse (or dog!) for a mooch and pick up your products on the way home? We have someone in house from 8am until 5pm every day, but we will pop you an email to let you know when your product is ready for collection.

Returns
We hope you will be pleased with your order, but if you are not we are happy to refund or exchange items. All we ask is that you return them in original packaging and unopened/unused with all original labels.
