1stforsupplements relocated to Lincolnshire in early 2021 from Somerset, where it had been residing for nearly 20 years. Keen to allow the business to become more modernised and branch out further online, Jane and Brian offered the reins to Sarah and Jess; a mother/daughter duo. 

Jess Howard 

Jess is a BHSAI, BHSSM, UKCC L2 Coach, with a BSc in Equine Studies and Advanced Certificate in Lorinery Science. She has spent her entire professional life with horses, formerly as a groom on several hunting, dressage and eventing yards including a current 5 star Team GB rider. Latterly she was asked to lecture at Bishop Burton University Centre as their Curriculum Lead in Equine Sport Science & Coaching, and aided in re-writing the equine degree programmes for University of Lincoln. One of her later students has recently been selected by BETA for their dissertation topic on training aids, of which Jess was instrumental in as she was the lead for the Groundwork modules. She has three of her own horses, two semi retired ex-hunt service horses, and one horse that she shows under saddle and hunts herself. Jess is most likely found with her head in a book or research paper, seeking out new information to help customers find the best nutritional solutions for their horses and dogs needs.

Sarah Howard

Sarah is a BHSAI, BHSHM, with over 30 years experience in industry. She has worked in dressage, hunting, driving and racing in the most professional settings with a variety of horses, and has trained in classical dressage. Sarah has impeccably high standards both on and off the yard, and an eye for organisation. She is known best for her superb attention to detail and turnout, so generally tends to manage the grooming and show care ranges in our shop, to help aid customers in the best quality products to use, whether that be for the show ring or hunting field. Sarah has two horses, one of which she is currently in the process of rehabilitating, with view to competing her next year.
